Finals Project
THE BASICS FOR BEGINNER
First things, first,
we need to open photoshop and at the top corner click file , new and then you
will see the options of the canvas that you want, you can also adjust the size
and and pixels.
Now we move to the
tools.
So the first is
1.2 LASSO TOOL or (L)
in the shortcut keys – Used for selections , there are 3 types of Lasso tools
·
FREEHAND
LASSO TOOL- used for freehand selections.
·
POLYGOON

· MAGNETIC LASSO TOOL- used for object edges.
1.3 CROP TOOL or (c)

That’s about it in the basic essentials in tools.
You use layers to perform tasks such as compositing multiple images, adding text to an image, or adding vector graphic shapes. You can apply a layer style to add a special effect such as a drop shadow or a glow.
In the image showed the blue highlight shows the options of filtering layers.
The cyan
highlight shows the visibility of the layer if you press the EYE SHAPED icon.
The red
highlight shows the adjustment of the opacity which is the transparency of a
layer.
The yellow
highlight shows the adding of the layer the plus icon
The greed
highlight is the option if you want to delete a selected layer.
To the type of layers as you can see in
the image the blue highlight shows the type of layers that you can use weather
its for normal type, darken type, lighten type, contrast type, inversion/cancelation type and component.
The red highlights will give you the
options to add effects or style on the selected layer.
That’s it for the basic layer information
that you need.
Now in brushes there are a lot of freedom
which is sometimes overwhelming that is why we are only going to talk about the
basics.
The yellow highlights shows the type of
brushes you can use you can also download free ones on internet.
The red highlight is the adjustment size
of the brush
The green highlight shows the history of
the brush you used
The red highlight will able us to adjust
the size and hardness of brush.
The blue highlight shows the transparency
of the brush
The green highlight controls the flow of
your brush meaning you will be able to control how concentrated your ink will
be.
The yellow highlight controls the
smoothness of your brush you will be able to control how rough the stroke or
how smooth it is.
Now there may be a lot of brushes you can
use but it doesn’t mean that you will need them all so we will just advice you
to use this 3 types of brushes
The hard round pressurized brush- its almost
like an airbrush but a little hard tone which will help you control your
strokes.
Soft round pressurized brush- it's an
AIRBRUSH ITSELF its usually used for light toning
Hard round airbrush- used for line works and solid colors.
Here in color there is also a lot of
freedom and a lot of options so we will tackle only the basics. Like what kind
of color board you would like to use , you can go with the cube HUE or color
wheel. The easiest way to make the best
of the color is to use it with lasso tool or bucket tool.
But sure there a lot ways to make the best
out of photoshop and some that maybe our is yet to discover but I hope that our
information helped we will see you soon!
